Using a specialised device with 20 gold-plated, ultra-fine needles—thinner than a human hair—this treatment creates microchannels in the skin at a shallow depth of approximately 0.6mm. These microchannels allow for the targeted delivery of a tailored cocktail of skin-boosting ingredients such as hyaluronic acid for hydration, vitamin C for brightening and antioxidants to combat dullness.

  • When piercing the skin during a treatment, it's common for your face to become slightly red and a warm sensation may be felt in the area. It's certainly not painful, but to enhance comfort, a cool face mask is typically placed over the treated area which effectively helps to calm and soothe the skin.

    The redness of the skin, depending on each individual client's unique sensitivity, may last anywhere from approximately 30 minutes to 2 hours.

    Following this treatment, it is generally not recommended to apply makeup for the best results. In fact, many individuals find that their skin feels so refreshed and clean after the process that they express a desire to avoid putting anything on it at all.

  • Active acne, chemotherapy or radiation, oral blood thinning medication, sunburn, pregnancy, breastfeeding, skin cancer, eczema or dermatitis, active infection e.g.. herpes simplex, flat warts, use of roaccutane within the last 12 months, recent use of topical agents such as glycol acids, alpha-hydroxy acids and retinol products, any raised lesions.
